About Me

I began playing basketball in 3rd grade and haven't stopped since. I also play middle for volleyball but did not start volleyball until 6th grade. Basketball has always been my passion and number one sport. I've tried other sports like track, cross country, and softball, but none of them ever called to me the way basketball did.

 

I really enjoy volunteer work, especially when I get to work with my community's youth program. I'm also a volunteer for Unified Sports, where I am given the opportunity to help kids with special needs be able to enjoy sports as much as I do. This is something I really hold close to my heart because I understand that these kids aren't given many of the opportunities that I have been given. Additionally, I love to read, and I'm also a part of an A Cappella group called Knightscapes.

 

Although I am still deciding what career path I want to take, I really enjoy math and science so an engineering major or related field may be something I would be interested in.​​​​

About My Family

I am the oldest child of a family of six. My dad, Ryan, played multiple sports growing up in his hometown and played football at UW-Oshkosh where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in exercise and fitness management. Currently, he is a Warehouse and Logistics Manager for Carmex. He enjoys working out and anything outdoors. My mom, Amy, attended UW-Milwaukee and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor's degree in civil engineering. She worked as an Engineering Major Project Manager for over 20 years before becoming a stay-at-home mom.

I have three younger siblings, Grant (11), Calvin (7), and Claire (7). Grant plays baseball and likes playing his PS5 and fishing.  Calvin is the oldest of the twins and has non-verbal autism. He likes to participate in the special needs sports club in our school district, Unified Sports. As the youngest, Claire has the biggest personality, loads of energy and loves all sports.
